I think it's one of the most known mosaics: the wall mosaic of Neptune and Amphitrite.
It uses pieces of glass for the colours and reflection of the light.

I really loved all the mosaics on the floor and the walls in Herkulaneum and Pompeii. 😊
Mosaics on the floor could be just bits of terracotta or brick.
Or tesserae in black, white and other colours. I think they're all great 😉
The house of the mosaic atrium.
It's an aristocratic residence with a big garden and this atrium.
We weren't allowed to go inside, but you can see the black and white mosaic. It begins with geometric shapes and stylized flowers which are leading to the atrium itself with the checkerboard mosaic. (Which gave the house its name.) The floor was damaged by mud and ash.
Still beautiful 😊
Despacito is everywhere! But the most amazing thing was Circumvesuviana. Is a metro/train really something like S-Bhan in Berlin and it isn't the only thing what connect Circumvesuviana with Capital of Germany. When I was reading Kinder vom Behnhof Zoo I imagined title station just like this. Full of dirt and graffiti. Circumvesuviana rides around Vesuvius, so if you want to visit #pompeii , #herkulaneum or climb up to vulcano, you will be sitting in this strange construction. | #despacito#circumvesuviana | #naples#napoli#italy | #travel#traveler | on my way to #pompeii | #ontheroadagain
