It seems like a lifetime ago.. but back in 2013 we brought Mother Nature to life for one special Canada Day, where I had the fortune of meeting lots of lovely people while talking about our Endangered Species campaign. Pam McConnell was one of them. It was my only interaction with her in person, but I imagine if I had had the pleasure, every one of them would have been as lovely. She oozed passion and care and was just a bundle of joy. Maybe it was the glowing hearts filled with pride. Maybe it was the cake. Maybe it was the song I sang her. She loved our birds and spent time with us learning about our cause. Ward 28 lost a gem.. a true champion. But the legacy she left has transformed this city. #thankyouPam #pammcconnell #toronto #ward28
