Here's a burn out method I played with tonight, hits all muscle fibres and gets a crazy pump. 1-10 start heavy for 1 rep, drop weight 2 reps.... all the way through to 10 reps, minimal rest, then as a reward so it again in reverse 10-1. Fact. This is my first week semi consistent back in a gym the last few weeks. Between moving and vacation and some 70hr work weeks I simply Just had better shit to do. Another fact. I haven't lost any progress. My weights still the same as well as my strength as well as still looking the same as I did three weeks ago. Hell my shoulders and joints feel even stronger now simply from giving them a little time to breath and re heal. You're only as strong as your mind allows you to be. Seeing some progression with my back lately.. switched up to lifting a lot more heavy and with a lot of reps, and finding it giving me the results that I want.. if you want something, then go get that shit.
