Chicken chili topped with shredded cheese and cornbread...all in the crock‼️😍❤️ This is one of our favorite recipes ever. I mean, spicy and sweet? Does it get any better?
You can make it with chicken or ground beef and any color pepper you want. A lot of people on my blog have mentioned adding beans, but I think it's perfect as-is. Give it a try and let me know what you think. .
1 pound chicken breasts
1 bell pepper, chopped
1 yellow onion, diced
1 cup frozen corn
15oz can tomato sauce
1 tsp honey
1 packet taco seasoning mix (or homemade equivalent)
Cook 6-8 hours on low. Shred chicken and stir. Top with 1 cup shredded cheese and assembled cornbread batter (6 muffins worth or a box of Jiffy!). Cook 1 hour on high. .
