I left Moshi two days ago. The town had been my home the past seven weeks; unfortunately, I didn't take many photos while I was in the town, partly due to my habit of procrastinating ("I'll take photos tomorrow"), partly due to my never-ending internal turmoil surrounding street photography ("Can I take photos of these people? Am I being rude?") I was lucky to have a room in Golden View, in the centre of town, which made exploring the town quite easy by foot, though aside from our evenings after class, we didn't really have that much free time to get to know the place. We frequented a few of the establishments around town - like Jay's (amazing korean fried chicken), Milan's (curries) and Black Diamond (solid dance spot). My favourite spot, however, has to be the Railway Bar. Around sunset, wazungu flock to this unassuming watering hole nestled in an abandoned railway station, where they grab a few plastic chairs and sit between the long-unused train tracks with a drink in hand, Kilimanjaro in the background.
This was taken on our last visit there.
