I'm not sure if I killed my workout or if it killed me today. Decided to try something a little different today along with my normal chest, triceps, and calves exercise. I've read about cardio acceleration and doing 30 to 60 sec of cardio between sets instead of resting. I thought I would give it a try and omg. You can't tell it here but I am soaked in sweat. I varied my cardio exercises between jumping jacks, running in place, high knees, goblet squats, kettlebell swings, dumbbell cleans, and lunges. I was supposed to start phase 4 of my HIIT program today, but since my entire workout was basically one giant HIIT session I didn't start it today. Might try this out for a couple weeks and see how I like it/what my results are. I know that it kept my heart rate way more elevated than normal and according to my watch I burned quite a few more calories than normal so maybe it will be a good thing!
