Went on a gorgeous run tonight along the trail. 5 mins walking, 15 minutes run-walk (1 min run, 1 min walk) and then ran for almost 15 mins straight (Mya ๐Ÿถ needed to stop for the bathroom) with a 5 min cool down! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

I haven't been keeping up with the insta these past few weeks, but I am still going hard! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ well, kinda ๐Ÿ˜‚ Did I mention I'm in week 14?!?! I'm so proud of myself that I actually followed through! I'll be honest though, week 10-12 was brutal... but moving forward! I'm starting another round of BBG with the same guide. Idk how many of you are Gilmore Girls fans or if you watch This is Us, but I have been a fan of Milo Ventimiglia since GG days! It was so random seeing him in my city! My city is pretty cool (small parts of La La Land were filmed at a vacant historical theater down the street) but idk why he's here! Glad he was though!! RG: Choc Chip Cookie Dough Protein Balls ๐Ÿชโœ”๏ธ โ€ขโ€ข INGREDIENTS: โ€ข2 scoops vanilla @happywayau protein powder โ€ข1 cup almond meal โ€ข1/2 cup nut butter (ie: almond butter) โ€ข1/4 cup maple syrup โ€ข1/4 cup dairy-free mini chocolate chips โ€ขโ€ขโ€ข Place protein powder and almond meal in a medium-size bowl and mix. Then, add in nut butter and maple syrup and mix again. At this point the batter should be just like cookie dough. Finally, add in chocolate chip and mix one last time. Let's talk form! I'm always trying to make sure I have the correct form during workouts, but to be honest it's really hard to tell without a mirror (that's why you have your 4 year old take ๐Ÿ“ท). I learned a lot of the correct form for exercising during yoga and I think it has really helped. โ€ข. During donkey kicks you want to make sure your hips are square to the front of the room (or garage), your core is engaged, back is flat, hands are under your shoulders, shoulders are down/back and away from your ears and your neck is long. That's a ton to remember, am I right?! However, I promise it will get better with time! The important part is that you simply try (and yes, my arms are a hot mess and need work ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿผ, but I'm getting there ๐Ÿ˜‰). โ€ข. Let's do this y'all!
