I am 100% responsible for my life. How great is that!
You are in control of your actions, reactions, and words. This means you can change any part of your life that makes you unhappy simply by changing your reaction to it.
For example, your boss, significant other, kids, family, friends or whoever, is causing you stress and you feel overwhelmed. You may normally reach for comfort food to make yourself feel better, and that's your choice. And the end result may be weight gain. However, blaming an outside person for your weight gain is not taking responsibility for your life. Taking 100% responsibility means realizing that you're reacting to this stress by eating unhealthy food. Changing your actions may involve planning meals when you know you're going to have a stressful day or having some sort of backup plan to deal with the stresses of your day. Now you've taking control and responsibility for your own life!
