#theq #bethbrower #favequote "“I ache for your history, yes, because you, Quincy St. Claire, have become my friend, and I worry that you will sabotage that now because I am one step closer to understanding what is inside that very thick exterior you have so painstakingly erected.”" * * *
My heart is fuller for knowing the pages of The Q by Beth Brower, for knowing Quincy and Arch and Fisher and Great-Uncle Ezekiel and Jade and Lord Arch and Priest and, good heavens forbid I forget, Crow and Lady Fothergil.
This is a slow journey and one I can see myself revisiting every Fall, if only to remember why the presses of the Q were important to Quincy, the law and justice and goodness to Arch, love and study to Fisher, passion and adventure to Ezekiel, the antics of Boy Blue & Angel to the Q's staff, turning over the words again and again, daring to learn something even more.
I was recommended this book by @angiegirl , indirectly, because she runs a blog I've been following for YEARS. Our tastes are so similar. AND I have my own tribute to the book on my website's blog section, if you're interested in reading more of my thoughts ☺️ This also works for the #standalonebooks tag I received from @ash.reads & @tifferbeeak_books <3 I tag: @pocketfull_ofpages @read.write.coffee
