THE FUTURE OF COCKTAILS....is alternative milks?? We're working on some non-dairy alternatives for the site right now as I battle a sudden appearance of some food intolerances. While my body works itself out and longingly makes heart eyes at dairy, soy, eggs and red meat, I'll be looking for ways to swap out these foods in cocktails. Sorry dudes, no ribeye infused bourbon anytime soon.
A rare recipe appearance on the old Instagram (because it's just a straight swap of coconut milk for cream) for the cocktail pictured. Mainly it tastes like a Blue Hawaii but with a little coconut action. We got some really fun drinks planned so stayed tuned!
My Blue Hawaii (with dry ice for added effect)
1 oz vodka
1.5 oz sweetened pineapple juice .5 oz blue curaçao .25 lime juice .25 oz coconut milk
Combine all ingredients in a shaker 2/3 filled with ice. Shake. Strain. Serve.
