Good evening, guys!✨ . Another #localbowlofhappiness for lunch today. 😊 Organic salmon, grandma's egg, homemade raw sauerkraut, pumpkin, green beans, zucchini, carrots and a tiny bit spinach spiced with rosemary and fresh chili from my balcony.😊 For veggies a tip is to get them from farmer's markets. But there are also some supermarkets which sell local stuff! Often it is even cheaper because it doesn't have to be transported long ways. When it comes to meat and fish, I would recommend going to smaller local stores. I have an organic grocery store that sells fish and meat (and eggs) from local farmers. Rather paying for quality than quantity!! Today was another shitty day with another bad workout. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But there will come better days.🙈 . Good evening, guys!✨ . I want to share my lunch bowl with which I kind of have every day right now (too cold for salads😊🤷🏼‍♀️). When you have a closer look, all ingredients used are local and in season right now. I bought my veggies at the farmer's market and the egg is from my grandmother. Raw sauerkraut is even homemade☺️. In my opinion, the most important thing is to buy and support locals! I rather have a local carrot than a biological zucchini from China. My favorite coconut sauce for any dish [BLOGGED]🍲 . Still at uni and an evening of studying ahead for my exam tomorrow. I always get asked how I can eat veggies all day. The secret is playing with spices, herbs and sauces. By far my favorite for summer is the coconut sauce you can find on my blog now. Enjoy it with fish, seafood, meat, tofu or simply veggies. The combo of sweet coconut and canilla, hot chili and fresh lemongras and kefir lime will remind you of the Caribbean 🌊🌺🌴. . And you know what I will have for tonight's dinner? Nothing holds you back more than your own insecurities. . Showing you real me - no make up, no filter, no flexing... presenting my morning shape including a little tummy bloat because I couldn't resist using peanuts for my vegan brownies yesterday. Do I care? No. . Having a very stressful week behind me (btw stress is one factor for lower stomach bloat), tired, exhausted but loving my body more than ever because it is on this journey with me without getting as upset as it used to in the past. Going paleo changed a lot for me, especially gut health wise. But it also changed my way of thinking and I'm trying to listen to my body even more. I also feel like my body really uses the surplus of calories and builds my physique.☺️ . Today was pretty productive and I had an amazing leg workout and did a boxing circuit finishing it off with @sarahs_day second week ab workout. . If you listen to your body when it whispers, you won't hear it scream. ✨ . I've seriously never been more busy in my life than now. Yes - my stress levels are high. But I'm happy and that's what counts for me. I love what I'm doing. Nevertheless, I'm in the process of listening and understanding my body deeper than ever before. If it wants a sweaty circuit training, I try to somehow get it into my schedule. If I want to listen to music and bake a cake, I'll find some time. I want to be in harmony and balance with my body, mind and soul as much as I can.☺️ Lately, I feel like it responses... to my diet by not showing any gut symptoms, to my workouts by building muscle and strength, to my lifestyle by performing best at uni and any other parts of life.
